Many skiers know the problem: pressure points, lack of heel hold or pain in the shin area. In such cases, a standard adjustment is often not enough. With Ski Boot Foaming, the liner is individually adapted to your foot using a special foam tongue. This creates a precise fit that ensures more comfort, better support and optimal power transmission – whether in racing, touring or freeriding.

Despite the huge improvements in modern ski boots, there are cases where a
custom-foamed liner is necessary. Foaming ensures a precise fit, even for special foot shapes.

Very narrow heels or extremely wide feet
Racing – for maximum power transmission
Touring and freeride boots – for better support
Foot deformities or after injuries

The ski boot tongue is crucial for comfort and control, as it transfers the power directly to the ski. With a custom-foamed tongue, many problems can be permanently solved.

The Foam

The most important factor in ski boot foaming is the hardness and composition of the foam. Depending on the application, the boots are foamed harder and more compact, or softer and more flexible.

The Fitting Process

After foot analysis, insole production and shell adjustment, the liner is foamed according to individual needs. The foaming process takes about 45 minutes. After a curing time of 12 hours, the liner is ready for use.

Thermoform Liners

These liners provide 100% customization of the liner to the foot and shell, with very low weight and unique insulation.

Overlap Construction: ideal for high insteps, stronger calves and sensitive shins; very warm.
Tongue Construction: ideal for reducing volume in boots that are too large, for better fixation and for cold feet.
Fitting Process: The liner is heated in a 100°C oven for about 15 minutes. This makes it soft and moldable. Afterwards, you step into the shell with the liner for 15 minutes.
